Fairy Tales’ Towns International Association (FTT) is a network of cities, towns, villages and universities, schools, associations, foundations, and also simple people or groups, sharing passion and interest for Fairy Tales and their world.
It’s a Music 2.0 label, based on a group of musicians/friends, people that through the years have been busy with building their dream about music and collaborating with us in our music projects.
A place where creative young people from all over the world can come together and share their culture, experience, wishes, dreams and energy amongst each other, being inspired by great experts in analog and digital arts and living their training in a rural environment where they can breathe, touch, eat and enjoy the Culture of the Territory.
In the wonderful formerly called Villa Gaslini and now property of SAFR (a local government organization) in Montefoscoli, lovely small village in the province of Pisa, we created and organized Humus, three days of theater, music, arts, food and wine tasting, and conferencing about Sustainable Development.
Born in 2004 as a Street Theater Festival dedicated to Fairy Tales and devoted to bring the village of Peccioli (Pisa, Italy) to life during winter time, Fiabesque became very soon much more. Multimedia, cinema, cartoons, art, crafts, design, architecture and social issues came together to create a yearly event that goes on spreading its effects throughout the whole 12 months of the year, involving an international network, which becomes wider and wider every passing edition.
On an assignment by the Government of the Province of Pisa MDB had to create a brand name for the entire territory, to give a new identity to its culture and economy, and then to study area marketing strategies in order to unify Pisa with its province under a unique perspective of development and evolution.
Within PisaUnicaTerra we redesigned completely the major event about wine and other typical products in Pisa, which was formerly called “Pisavini”, then “I Pisani più Schietti”.
One of the tasks included in the PisaUnicaTerra assignment by the Province of Pisa was to restyle existing events. The Rassegna Internazionale del Tarufo Bianco Sanminiatese (International Conference about The White San Miniato Truffle) was the most important event in Italy about truffle culture, together with La Borsa Del Tartufo in Alba and in Florence.
Valdera is an area of Tuscany, famous for its main town, Pontedera, house of Piaggio, the worldwide known producer of Vespa. The area suffered from a postindustrial disease since the late 70’s, when Piaggio started to cut production and of course personnel. Many people found themselves in the position to start all over again from the land, actually the only resource available. In particular the territory of Terricciola, a village whose economy depended completely on Piaggio, and before that on wine making.
